Helpful Information for Guests and Visitors
We would like to extend a special welcome to guest and visitors. If
this is your first visit with us please let us know by filling out the blue
pad that will be passed during our "Ritual of Friendship". Your
presence is important to us.
We hope you will feel comfortable and at home here. Please help
yourself to a cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or tea, and you are free to
bring it into the sanctuary.
For Children:
- Nursery care is often offered for infants through Kindergarten.
- All children are invited to spend time up front with the minister
during Children's Moment.
- After the Children's Moment children, 1st through 6th grade are
dismissed to Sunday School.
- Children are welcome to sit with you during church.
Here at Lake Washington we participate in the Lord's Supper, or
Communion, every Sunday. We practice open communion, which means
everyone is welcome to partake of communion. You do not have to be a
member of this church or denomination to partake of communion. We
eat the bread as it is passed and hold the cup to drink together after
everyone has been served.
Wherever you see an * in the bulletin, you are invited to stand.
Once again, welcome!
